As a passionate and professional childcare provider, we want your child to feel that their nursery is their second home. We provide a healthy, happy, relaxed and secure environment enabling your child to flourish in our warm surroundings.

We have our Bunnies Room for babies aged 3 months–2 years, the Rabbits Room for 2–3 year olds and the Bears Room for children aged 3-5.

Each room has its own daily routines and the children are encouraged to learn through play. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage to plan our curriculum and through regular observations your child's key carer will ensure your child is meeting their early learning goals.

Opening hours

Our opening times are Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm. On bank holidays and on Christmas Eve we close at 12:30pm.

Ofsted approved

Our environment is safe, warm and stimulating and as described by Ofsted, a very happy and welcoming nursery with an excellent range of facilities.

Nutritious meals

We follow the 'Eat Better Start Better' programme and the kitchen is well equipped for our qualified chef to prepare fresh, well-balanced nutritious meals. Menus are displayed on the parents' notice board on a weekly basis.

Outdoor activities

Our garden outside is a breath of fresh air for the children to enjoy. It is surrounded by high fencing and is private and secure. Our outdoor activities are fun and extremely varied, equipped with apparatus to develop the children physically, socially and morally.

Fully qualified staff

All our staff have the required experience and aptitude to look after your child. Our nursery nurses are fully qualified in childcare and the staffing ratios mean that your child will always be under the supervision of a qualified carer.

Our aims

Our aims at Little Dreams Day Nursery are based upon the belief that a high-quality nursery can build a vital foundation for the development of children under the age of five. We strive to provide each individual child with opportunities that will guide and assist them in all areas of development.

We aim to prepare children for school life, both educationally and socially. We encourage independence and the ability to deal with new and challenging situations.

Our educational programme is designed in conjunction with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and we are proud to be associated with The Early Years Alliance.

As a registered nursery we are bound under the Children’s Act (2004) to ensure that the children in our care are safe and protected. The welfare of children is of paramount importance.

Partnership with parents

At the nursery we provide a welcoming atmosphere and understand that all families are important and should be made to feel welcome and valued at all times. We respect the diversity of families and the contribution they can bring to a child’s learning and development.

We like to schedule parents' evenings and informal meetings throughout the year to discuss the progress of the children with their parents/carers and also receive feedback from parents about how their children are developing during their time at Little Dreams Day Nursery.
